FileZilla a free alternate to CuteFTP

I have used CuteFTP for quite a long time for my FTP needs. I really liked the Pro version of it. Main reason of it was its user friendly interface and features like

  • Automatic switch to local and remote folder
  • Sync directory browsing: means if we change local folder remote is also changed
  • Easy manageable process queue

At that time I struggled to find some good “Free” FTP client. In this struggle I used SmartFTP and some other free clients including FileZilla.At that time FileZilla was not very user friendly and was no match for CuteFTP.

Now the tables have turned and I have been using FileZilla for my FTP needs. Its absolutely free tool (not even ads). It now includes all the main features of CuteFTP. It also keep adding new features and its auto update feature keep it updated.
